Leah Graner

Owner | Creative Director | Master Stylist

Leah Graner is the Owner and Creative Director of Union Salon & Spa, bringing over 25 years behind the chair and a career deeply rooted in both artistry and education. Known for her precision, eye for detail, and ability to see the full vision, Leah has built her reputation on creating transformative, confidence-building results for her guests.

She spent a decade as a hair color and perm educator throughout the East Coast with Joico Professional and ISO Professional, training stylists in advanced color formulation, texture services, and salon growth. Leah also owned Studio 303 Salon in Englewood, Colorado for nearly a decade, successfully building and selling the business before relocating to the coast of North Carolina. It was there she discovered her true passion for developing the next generation of stylists through a hands-on apprenticeship program.

Leah specializes in blonding and foiliage, short precision haircuts, and seamless grey blending—including full transitions into natural grey. She is also Bellami certified in five methods of hair extensions, with a particular love for sew-in wefts to create soft, natural volume and length. With over two decades of experience in hair enhancements, Leah also brings a refined skill set in styling wigs, clip in hair extensions and hair pieces, offering thoughtful solutions for a wide range of guest needs.

As a leader, Leah is deeply committed to education, mentorship, and building a culture of excellence. She believes in training stylists not just in technical skill, but in confidence, connection, and long-term career success—making Union a place where both guests and artists thrive.

Outside of the salon, Leah enjoys life on the water with her husband and three sons, fishing and boating as often as possible. She loves wildlife—especially coastal birds—and spends much of her time outdoors with their three dogs and two cats, or in her garden tending to her collection of coastal perennials.
